Ingredients

1  Tuvar daal 250 gm

2   Green chili 50 gm

3   Small onion 150 gm

4    Red chili powder 50 gm

5    Turmeric powder ½ tsp

6     Salt to taste

7     Potato ¼ kg

8     Drumstick 2

9     Ladies finger 2

10   Tamarind as desired

11   Coriander powder 6 tsp

12  Fenugreek powder 1 tsp

13  Asafetida powder 1 tsp

14  Coconut oil 1 tbsp

15  Curry leaves, red chili, mustard to season

16  Water 3 cup

Preparation

Put thuvar daal into boiling water. When it boils well, add green chili split vertically and small onion and cook. Mash the daal when it is cooked well. Put chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, potatoes and drumstick and when cooked, pour the tamarind juice. Then put ladies finger and when it boils add coriander powder, asafetida powder and mix well. Season with mustard.
