Ingredients

1  Egg 4

2  Onion cut into strips 500 gm

3  Green chili 6

4  Ginger cut into strips 1 piece

5  Salt 1 pinch

6  Turmeric powder ½ tsp

7  Coriander powder 2 tbsp

8  Chili powder 1 tsp

9  Masala powder ¼ tsp

10 Cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, pepper to taste

11 Vinegar, oil as desired

Curry leaves as desired

Preparation

Hard-boil egg and remove the shell. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onion, green chili, ginger and curry leaves. Once sautéed well, remove it from fire. Pour some more oil and sauté turmeric powder, coriander powder and the masala mixture. Sauté till it becomes golden brown and oil oozes out. Mix well adding the sautéed onion mixture. Add salt and vinegar. Keep the egg on a plate and put the masala over it.
