Ingredients

Fish -1 kg

Onion (cut into strips)- ¼ kg

Finely chopped ginger -1 piece

Green chili split vertically- 6

Curry leaves- as desired

Chili powder -½ tsp

Coriander powder -2 dsp

Masala powder -1 tsp

Turmeric powder -1 pinch

Pepper powder -1 pinch

(grind all the powders into a paste)

Salt to taste

Coconut milk -½ glass first milk

                                       1 ½ glass second milk

Preparation

Spread 1 tsp chili powder, one pinch pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste over the fish and fry it. Heat oil in a pan and sauté the onion, ginger, green chili and curry leaves. Remove this from the oil and put the paste into it and sauté again.

Add the onion mix into this sautéed paste and pour the second coconut milk and bring it to a boil. Keep the fish pieces over the gravy. Keep in low fire for some time and pour the first coconut milk and remove from fire.
