Maida 2 cup

Coconut 1 cup

Baking soda a pinch

Cumin seeds a pinch


Grind coconut and cumin seeds, adding ½ cup water. To this add maida, without forming lumps. Make it into a batter. Add salt to taste and a pinch of baking soda and keep aside for 15 minutes. Heat tawa and lace with oil before pouring a spoonful of batter and spread it out into appam.
