Full chicken

  1. Chicken     1 ½ kg

(Clean a full chicken thoroughly. Marinate it in salt and turmeric powder for 2 hours)

  1. Finely chopped onion    4 nos
  2. Small onion     1 no
  3. Ginger      1 piece
  4. Garlic      1 clove
  5. Chili powder     1 tbsp
  6. Tomato     2 nos big
  7. Cardamom     5
  8. Cloves      2
  9. Cinnamon     1
  10. Pepper      1 tsp
  11. Salt      to taste
  12. Oil      as desired

Fry the onion till golden brown. Powder cardamom, cloves, cinnamon and pepper. Grind the onion, small onion, ginger, garlic chili powder and tomato into a paste.  Fry this masala in oil. Add half cup water to this and leave it to boil in slow fire. Once the water dries up, put the chicken pieces into it and let it fry.

Fry till it becomes brown. Then pour four cups water and salt and cook in slow fire. When the chicken is cooked, add the masala. Stir it well and remove from fire. Decorate it with coriander leaves before serving.
